Lärm – “Extreme Noise Discography”

Posted in Uncategorized by Mogo on June 12, 2007

fans of The Locust should take note here: this Dutch group pioneered grindcore/power-violence (or “extreme noise” as they preferred to call it at the time) in the early 80s. they were, to my knowledge, the first such band to occassionally incorporate keyboards into their sound. don’t get me wrong – they didn’t exactly reach the same dizzying levels of complexity as today’s grind-prog masked men, but they certainly did set a precedent for the madness that followed them.
